The HCAT-1 is specifically designed for the electrophoresis of COMET slides used in the “12 Gel Apparatus”. A maximum of three slides can be horizontally used in one electrophoresis application. Thus allowing processing a maximum of 36 samples in one run.  Easy and convenient to use the HCAT-1 has a small lab footprint, unlike larger tanks adapted for the COMET assay.
