Xylene Cyanol

Description:
Xylene Cyanol is used as a marker in PAGE and Agarose Gel Electrophoresis.
Its used as a tracking dye for migrating DNA fragments.
In Agarose it migrates at the same rate as a 4000BP fragment and in 6% PAGE
migrates with a band front of approximately 140BP.
