Description:

Tween 20 -10% (Non-ionic) aqueous solution.

Used to solubilise proteins.

Hydrophobic membrane proteins are suited to more non-ionic detergents, making them easier to isolate and analyze.

Blocking and washing of western blots and ELISAs.

May be added to TBS or PBS at low concentrations, to reduce non-specific binding in ELISAs and IHC.
