* General DNA/RNA Extraction Info

Description:

DNA/RNA extraction can be achieved without the use of Tris buffered Phenol.  Using L2 and L6 buffer in conjunction with an Extraction Matrix is a simple alternative to Phenol.  Simply follow the extraction protocols provided, which are inexepensive abd easy to use.  The methods can be used on any cells including Plants, Viruses and Bacteria. Extraction can be done from body fluids feacal or organic matter and requires very little clean up prior to use.

L2 and L6 buffers are designed for total extraction using chaotropic agents by using an Extraction Matrix to capture the nucleic material from solution by solid phase binding.  The extract is then eluted from the matrix using the Elution Buffer and then concentrated.  It can also be used in conjunction with spin filter tubes ethanol preciptated desalted and washed all in a series of quick easy stages.
