Normal saline (NS) is a solution of 0.90% w/v of NaCl, about 300 mOsmL or 9.0 g per litre.

Aka physiological saline or isotonic saline.

Used for a number of Immunology and molecular biology techniques its primary use is in isotonic irrigation washing solutions.

Supplied 0.2 micron filtered, autoclaved sterile and LAL tested for pyrogens.
